Friends of the Dell Park Chepstow are delighted to announce that we are now a registered Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO).
As of 22 June, FDPC has been added to the Charity Commission’s Register of Charities. Our Registered Charity Number is 1199411.
A Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) is an alternative legal form for a charity. As a CIO it means we will now be in a stronger position to seek out and access a wide range of grants and funding pots to support our plans to make the Dell a destination park that all of Chepstow can be proud of.
Chair of FDPC, Vicky Burston-Yates, tells us: “Obtaining CIO status was one of our priorities for 2022 and we are thrilled that we have been able to achieve it. Being a charity should hopefully make our bid for lottery funding that much easier and will also open up doors to other funding streams which will be much needed to support later phases of the planned park redevelopment.”

In the coming weeks we hope to set up a fundraising page so we can start accepting donations from anyone who would like to support the much needed transformation of the Dell park – watch this space!
